LAST MINUTE ADVENTURE DEAL: Southern Tanzania & Swahili Coast with Immersion Journeys

Beginning November 1, 2012, custom travel company  Immersion Journeys is offering last-minute discounts on their six-night Tanzania and Swahili Coast adventure package, including airport meet-and-greet services, five-star accommodations and meals, domestic transport and game drives with an English-speaking guide, all park fees and government taxes. Highlights of this extraordinary adventure include three nights in the Selous Game Reserve- the largest reserve in Africa - and a stay at the luxury Serena Mivumo Lodge overlooking Steiglers Gorge, with game activities during the day including sundowners along the mighty Ruaha and Rufiji Rivers- where explorer’s caravans were likely to have once camped for the evening. 

 


Later, guests will fly to the island of Zanzibar- famed for its historic stone town and spices. The former seat of the Oman Sultanate, today this island is a thriving hub for beach-goers and historians. Stay at the Serena Inn located in the historic area and close to the windy streets of the bazaars and peddlers. The hotel was a former palace and still has features of ornate details and Arabic motifs. Walk the streets of Zanzibar with a local guide and learn the stories of yesteryear and sample the many delicious cuisines that are a confluence of Arab, India, Chinese, Swahili and European influences. 

Pricing for this 6-night, 7-day adventure is $3,125 per person sharing / $900 single room supplement, for travel between November 1, 2012 and March 1, 2013.

Includes: 1 night Dar-Es-Salaam with breakfast, 3 nights Selous Game Reserve on full board basis (except drinks), 2 nights Zanzibar with daily breakfast, 5* hotels and lodges, daily game drives, historic stone town tour and domestic flights. Rate quoted does not include international flights, passport and visa fees, gratuities and personal expenses.
